New version for SIG Pulse S1 : the solution for the Geological Survey of Estonia

This new version of SIG Pulse S1 has a smaller charger than the standard version. It is the sub bottom profiler ideal for the small boats when space in the cabin or on deck is critical. The size of the generator becomes then an issue.

The new SIG Pulse S1 can be operated with a small inverted-based 3.0 kVA generator.

It has been proposed to the Geological Survey in Estonia, who needed a solution to conduct surveys on a small boat. The shooting rates with this new charger vary from 150 ms @ 20 joules to 800 ms @ 300 joules.

The system has been sold through our agent Meridata in Finland.

When too much energy does not improve the seismic data

Always start at low power and increase gradually to see the improvement of the signal received. Too much power saturates the reception chain. Not much penetration and loss or resolution.

This experience have been given to share by KIGAM in South Korea.
